Superstitions and normality.
When and why did superstitions start and what exactly is normal?
It's 4 in the morning and I'm surfing the net to look for clothes 'cause I'm planning to update my closet. These fashion icons I'm searching for have their own distinct personality when it comes to clothes. Extremes as it can get from one fashion icon to the other, it all appeals to me. So I have a question. When does it get too crazy and too dull? It differs from the perspectives of the individual, yes, which goes back to my first question: What exactly is normal?
This is my 247th post. Is it coincidental that I just planned to do this and it's all summed up to 13?
Now why is 13 such an unlucky, hexed number? More so if it is patterned with Friday. 13 is such a special number. If it's so unlucky, then we shouldn't consider 13th month pays, which without a doubt most people who have jobs really look forward to.
Black.
It's such an elegant color. In fashion, it's a must to have a little black dress in our closets. Why is it that when black is mentioned, GRIEVING is the first thing that pops into our minds? In Chinese culture, correct me if I'm wrong, the color WHITE is their color for grieving. Just a thought, when a Chinese person attends a Christian wedding, is s/he happy or grieving? Hahaha
I can mention numerous superstitions in different cultures that I know. We can only give respect to their culture because it has been part of their history and is part of their tradition as well.
Maybe it is here to give order, or to entertain us. 'Cause imagine if there's none, it's either people are out of control or people will just be plain boring. It's just weird.
As for the normality, I guess there's no such thing as normal or crazy. What if God created the human being a LESBIAN? Then one day this one creature was born straight. So now there's a freak show. Or what if being sad was our main emotion?
God, it's really crazy, what's inside my head. Random thoughts. I just thought about this 'cause I was looking for clothes and thought if I have a distinct own look (since I'm only copying, not starting a new design or trend) then I thought of who I really am. Am I normal for wanting to dye my hair platinum blonde? Is it too crazy to get myself a tattoo? Die hard Christians see that as a sin. Artists see that as art such as how they see nudity.
Music.
Pioneers and legends such as the Beatles and Eraserheads were said to be satanists for the music they'd created and I refuse to believe that 'cause their lyrics are deep and pure. The emotion is really true. You can feel it thru their music. The music they'd created and these musicians can be judged separately, you know.
I just realized that Arts is really controversial. Hahaha!
What have I gotten myself into? HAHA

HAHAHAHA
I have to stop before I can think of a continuation to this train of thought. It's all too random and yet oddly connected. Sorry if you find this shallow. Maybe I am shallow. We'll never know what really is shallow.
It all depends! HAHAHA
G'night and go. ;)
